He was the founder of a Madrasa in Dammaj which was known as a center for Salafist ideology and its multi-national student population.〔 〕 ==Biography== Wadi'i was born sometime between the late 1920s and early 1930s nearby to the city of Sa'adah in northern Yemen,and is said to be from the tribe of a Zaydi.
